Ֆուտբոլի կանանց Կանադայի հավաքականը նվաճեց 30-րդ Օլիմպիական խաղերի բրոնզե մեդալը։ Երրորդ տեղի համար խաղում կանադացիները նվազագույն հաշվով պարտության մատնեցին ֆրանսիացիներին։

Եզրափակիչում կհանդիպեն ԱՄՆ-ի եւ Ճապոնիայի թիմերը։
