110 մետր արգելավազքում 2008թ. Պեկինի Օլիմպիական խաղերի չեմպիոն, Լոնդոնի Խաղերի գլխավոր ֆավորիտ կուբացի Դայրոն Ռոբլեսը վերջնագիծ չհասավ վնասվածքի պատճառով: Չեմպիոնի տիտղոսը նվաճեց ամերիկացի Էրիես Մերիտը: Աշխարհի չեմպիոն Ջեյսոն Ռիչարդսոնը մնաց երկրորդ տեղում:
