Ռուսաստանցի Նատալյա Անտյուխը նվաճեց օլիմպիական չեմպիոնի տիտղոսը 400 մետր արգելավազքում: Ամերիկացի Լաշինդա Դեմուսը դարձավ արծաթե մեդալակիր: Եռյակը եզրափակեց Զուզանա Հեյնովան:
