Գերմանացիներ Ջուլիուս Բրինկն ու Յոնաս Ռեկերմանը դուրս եկան լողափնյա վոլեյբոլի տղամարդկանց օլիմպիական մրցաշարի եզրափակիչ։ Գերմանացիները կիսաեզրափակիչում պարտության մատնեցին Հոլանդիայի՝ Ռեյնդեր Նումերդորին եւ Ռիկ Սկյույլին։

Եզրափակիչում գերմանացիները կմրցեն բրազիլացիներ Չերուտիի եւ Ռեգոյի հետ։
