Բասկետբոլի տղամարդկանց օլիմպիական մրցաշարի քառորդ եզրափակիչում Իսպանիայի հավաքականը բարդ պայքարում պարտության մատնեց ֆրանսիացիներին՝ 66։59։

Իսպանացիների կազմում ամենաարդյունավետը Մարկ Գազոլն էր՝ 14 միավոր։

Կիսաեզրափակիչում Իսպանիայի մրցակիցը կլինի Ռուսաստանը, որն ավելի վաղ հաղթեց Լիտվային՝ 83։74։
