Իռլանդացի Քեյթի Թեյլորը դուրս եկավ բռնցքամարտի կանանց օլիմպիական մրցաշարի 60 կգ քաշայինների եզրափակիչ։ Թեյլորը միավորներով առավելության հասավ տաջիկ Մավզուրա Չորիեւայի նկատմամբ։

Չեմպիոնի տիտղոսի համար Թեյլորը կմենամարտի ռուսաստանցի Սոֆյա Օչիգավայի հետ։
