Ֆուտբոլի տղամարդկանց Մեքսիկայի հավաքականը նվաճեց օլիմպիական մրցաշարի եզրափակիչի առաջին ուղեգիրը։

Կիսաեզրափակիչում մեքսիկացիները 3։1 հաշվով հաղթեցին ճապոնացիներին։
Մեքսիկայի մրցակիցը կլինի Հարավային Կորեա – Բրազիլիա զույգի հաղթողը։
