ԱՄՆ-ի Սենթ Լուիս քաղաքում ավարտին մոտեցող Sinquefield Cup շախմատային սուպերմրցաշարի (Grand Chess Tour-ի երրորդ փուլն է) նախավերջին տուրում հայկական շախմատի առաջատար Լեւոն Արոնյանը սպիտակներով ոչ ոքի խաղաց ռուսաստանցի Պյոտր Սվիդլերի հետ 19 քայլում:

Արոնյանն ունի 5 միավոր եւ ընթացիկ միանձնյա առաջատարն է: Մյուս պարտիաները չեն ավարտվել:

Վերջին տուրում Արոնյանը սեւերով կխաղա աշխարհի չեմպիոն, նորվեգացի Մագնուս Կարլսենի հետ:
