Ռիոյի Օլիմպիական խաղերի թիավարության մրցաշարում ԱՄՆ-ն ներկայացրեց Նարեկ Կյուրեղյանը (Nareg Guregian):

Ակադեմիական թիավարության զույգերի պայքարում 27-ամյա լոսանջելեսցին Անդերս Վայսի հետ գրավել է 11-րդ տեղը:

Չեմպիոնի տիտղոսը նվաճել է Նոր Զելանդիայի զույգը՝ Էրիկ Մարեյն ու Հեմիշ Բոնդը:
