Ֆուտբոլում սիմուլյացիայի դիմում են ոչ միայն խաղացողները, այլեւ մրցավարները: Այդպիսի միջադեպ գրանցվել է Չիլիի առաջնության խաղում, որում եզրային մրցավարն ընկել է, երբ ֆուտբոլիստը գնդակով թեթեւ հարվածել է նրա ոտքին: Հարվածի հեղինակն անմիջապես հեռացվել է խաղադաշտից:
