Տափօղակով հոկեյի Ռուսաստանի ազգային հավաքականի եւ ամերիկյան «Պիտսբուրգ Պինգվինս» ակումբի հարձակվող Եվգենի Մալկինը ճանաչվել է NHL-ի ավարտված առաջնության լավագույն խաղացող, հաղորդում է NHL-ի պաշտոնական կայքը:

25-ամյա ռուսաստանցին ճանաչվել է նաեւ առաջնության ամենաարդյունավետ խաղացող: Նախորդ մրցաշրջանում Մալկինը դարձել է 50 գոլի եւ 59 արդյունավետ փոխանցման հեղինակ:
