Սոչիում ընթացող 22-րդ ձմեռային օլիմպիական խաղերում Չինաստանի առաջին ոսկե մեդալը նվաճեց Լի Ցզյանժոուն, ով հաղթեց շորթ-տրեկի կանանց 500 մետրում:

Իտալացի Արիանա Ֆոնտանան նվաճեց արծաթե մեդալ, իսկ Հարավային Կորեայի ներկայացուցիչ Պակ Սին-Ինը դարձավ բրոնզե մեդալակիր:
