Սոչիի 22-րդ ձմեռային օլիմպիական խաղերում առաջին ոսկե մեդալը նվաճեց Ֆրանսիան: Բաիթլոնի տղամարդկանց 12.5 կմ հետապնդման մրցավազքում Մարտեն Ֆուրկադը նվաճեց չեմպիոնական տիտղոսը: Արծաթե մեդալը նվաճեց չեխ Օնդրժեյ Մորավեցը, իսկ երրորդը ֆրանսիացի Ժան-Գիյոմ Բեատրիքսն է:
