Աշխարհի առաջին ռակետ Յանիկ Սիները դուրս եկավ Ուիմբլդոնի մրցաշարի երրորդ շրջան։ Աշխարհի առաջին ռակետը 7:6 (7:4), 7:6 (7:2), 6:4 հաշվով պարտության մատնեց աշխարհի 48-րդ ռակետ, պորտուգալացի Նունու Բորժեշին։ Պայքարը տեւեց 2 ժամ եւ 34 րոպե։

Երրորդ շրջանում Յանիկ Սիների մրցակիցը կլինի ամերիկացի Ջենսոն Բրուքսբին։

Յանիկ Սիները պաշտպանում է անցած տարի նվաճած տիտղոսը։

Ուիմբլդոնի մրցաշարի մրցանակային հիմնադրամը 64,2 միլիոն ֆունտ ստերլինգ է։
