Բասկետբոլի կանանց ԱՄՆ-ի հավաքականը նվաճեց Փարիզի Խաղերի չեմպիոնի տիտղոսը։

Եզրափակիչում ամերիկացիները մեկ միավորի առավելությամբ պարտության մատնեցին ֆրանսիացիներին՝ 67:66 (15:9, 10:16, 20:18, 22:23)։

Բասկետբոլի տղամարդկանց ԱՄՆ-ի թիմը եւս օլիմպիական եզրափակիչում պարտության էր մատնել ֆրանսիացիներին։
