20:53 3 օգոստոսի, 2024Աշխարհի 7-րդ ռակետ, չինացի Չժեն Ցինվենը նվաճեց օլիմպիական չեմպիոնի տիտղոսը թենիսի կանանց մենախաղում։ Եզրափակիչում նա 6:2, 6:3 հաշվով հաղթեց աշխարհի 21-րդ ռակետ, խորվաթ Դոննա Վեկիչին։ Մրցախաղը տեւեց 1 ժամ եւ 45 րոպե։
Կիսաեզրափակիչում Չժեն Ցինվենը պարտության էր մատնել աշխարհի առաջին ռակետ Իգա Շվյոնտեկին։
Լեհ թենիսիստուհին դարձել է բրոնզե մեդալակիր՝ 6:2, 6:1 հաշվով առավելության հասնելով աշխարհի 67-րդ ռակետ, սլովակ Աննա Շմիդլովայի նկատմամբ։
