Ավելացված 16-րդ րոպեին արգենտինացիների խփած գոլից հետո սկսվել էին անկարգություններ տրիբունայում, մարոկկացի երկրպագուներ էին ներխուժել խաղադաշտ։
Երկու ժամ անց վերսկսված խաղում մրցավարը VAR-ի օգնությամբ դիտել է արգենտինացիների գոլի կրկնապատկերը եւ չեղարկել է այն։ 2:1 հաշվով հաղթել է Մարոկկոյի թիմը։
