Աշխարհի երրորդ ռակետ Կառլոս Ալկարասը նվաճեց Ֆրանսիայի բաց առաջնության չեմպիոնի տիտղոսը։

21-ամյա իսպանացի թենիսիստը եզրափակիչում մրցեց աշխարհի չորրորդ ռակետ, Գերմանիայի ներկայացուցիչ Ալեքսանդր Զվերեւի հետ եւ առավելության հասավ 5 սեթում՝ 6:3, 2:6, 5:7, 6:1, 6:2 հաշվով։ Պայքարը տեւեց 4 ժամ եւ 19 րոպե։

«Մեծ սաղավարտի» չորս մրցաշարերից Ալկարասը հաղթել է նաեւ Ուիմբլդոնում (2023թ․) եւ ԱՄՆ-ի բաց առաջնությունում (2022թ․)։
