«Բրեստը» պատմության առաջին անգամ նվաճեց Ֆրանսիայի առաջնության մեդալներ։

Վերջին տուրում «Բրեստը» 3:0 հաշվով հաղթեց «Թուլուզին» եւ 61 միավորով գրավեց երրորդ տեղը։

«Բրեստն» առաջին անգամ հանդես կգա Չեմպիոնների լիգայի խմբային մրցաշարում։

Նախքան այս «Բրեստի» լավագույն արդյունքը Ֆրանսիայի առաջնությունում եղել էր 8-րդ տեղը 1986-1987 թվականների մրցաշրջանում։
