Armenian national footballer is among symbolic team of Ukrainian league

KYIV. – Following the 22nd round in Ukraine’s national football championship, the country’s well-known Football.ua website formed its symbolic team which included the Armenian national squad’s and Ukraine’s FC Metalurh Donetsk’s half-back, Karlen Mkrtchyan.

Mkrtchyan played the entire ninety minutes in Metalurh’s away game against FC Metalist Kharkiv, and the match ended in 1-1. 

“The main reason for this could be Mkrtchyan’s successful game at the base zone,” the website writes.
