800 football fans welcome Drogba to China (VIDEO)
13:38 14 July, 2012Chelsea FC of London’s former striker Didier Drogba arrived in China on Saturday.
At the airport, Shanghai Shenhua FC’s newcomer was met by 800 fans, who accompanied the 34-year-old Côte d’Ivoire international all the way to the Club’s sports complex.
“I am not a superman. If we want to win, we need to be united and work incessantly. Money is not the most important thing in this world. I came here because this is a new experiment in my career,” Drogba said during the news conference, L'Équipe writes.
To note, Didier Drogba signed a 2.5-year contract with the aforesaid Chinese club, and he will receive weekly salary of 300,000 euros.
