Armenia national football squad to have new manager

Artur Petrosyan, who currently coaches the youth team of FC Zürich (Switzerland), will be appointed manager of the Armenian national football team, informed the website of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA).

The legendary player of the national squad will take the latter’s helm on November 1, and sign a respective contract with the FFA.

Petrosyan, 44, was in the coaching staff of the Armenian national team during their Euro 2016 qualifiers. 

The national squad manager’s position had become vacant after the resignation of Varuzhan Sukiasyan.
