2018 World Cup qualifiers: Poland 2 Armenia 1

WARSAW. – The Armenian national football squad on Tuesday suffered their third consecutive defeat in their 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

They faced Poland, in the latter’s capital city of Warsaw.

The host nation, however, achieved a difficult win by a score of 2-1, with their winning goal coming in the last minute of injury time.

Furthermore, Armenia were down to ten men in the 30th minute of the match, just like in their previous game against Romania. Nonetheless, they managed to score their first goal in the qualifiers.

Armenia’s next 2018 World Cup qualifier is slated for November 11, when they will play host to Montenegro, in capital city Yerevan.
