Man United on Mkhitaryan: Stats show we’ve signed best player from Bundesliga
15:58 12 August, 2016The press service of Manchester United (England) reflected on the club’s newcomers during this transfer window, including Armenia national football squad captain and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan who transferred from Borussia Dortmund (Germany).
“Stats show we’ve signed 2015/16’s best player from Serie A [in Italy], Ligue 1 [in France] and the Bundesliga [in Germany],” reads the Man United Facebook account.
Aside from the Armenia international, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG; France) forward Zlatan Ibrahimović (Sweden), Juventus (Italy) midfielder Paul Pogba (France), and Villarreal CF (Spain) defender Eric Bailly (Côte d’Ivoire) also joined the 20-time champions of England this summer.
