Armenian GM wins international tournament

Armenian GM Davit Harutyunyan, representing Georgia, became the winner of the 19th Adolf Anderssen Memorial rapid tournament held in Wroclaw, Poland. At first he was successful in tournaments, later on he defeated all his opponents in several decisive matches on knockout style, Armchess reports.

In the final, Harutyunyan defeated 2-1 another Armenian GM Sergey Kasparov representing Belarus.

The rapid tournament with time control 15′ + 5″ per player and 15′ + 7″ honors one of the best chess players in the world in the second half of XIX century Adolf Anderssen.
