European Championship: Armenia basketball team debuts with victory

The newly-created men’s basketball team of Armenia has started off with victory during the European Championship held in Moldova among small countries. The Armenians’ first competitor was the Moldovan squad. The team led by Tigran Gyokchyan won the first official game by a score of 83-64.

During the second game, which is to be held on June 29, Armenia will play against Andorra.
