Team Armenia will have 6 weightlifters in Junior World Championships
13:46 21 June, 2016YEREVAN. – Armenia will have six participants in the 2016 International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) Junior World Championships, which the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi will host from June 23 to July 2, informed the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia.
Zhorzh Yeghikyan, Davit Hovhannisyan, Samvel Gasparyan, and Simon Martirosyan will compete in the Boy’s championship.
And Sona Poghosyan and Arpine Dalalyan will vie for medals in the Girls’ competition.
The Armenia national weightlifting squad will leave for Tbilisi on Thursday, and return home on July 2.
