Еuro 2016: Slovaks confidently defeat Russia

Slovakia beat Russia 1-2 in the Group B match of Euro 2016 Wednesday.

Slovaks scored two goals in the first half: Vladimir Weiss and Marek Hamšík netted the goals in the 32nd and 45th minutes respectively.

Ten minutes before the end of the normal time, Russian team substitute Denis Glushakov reduced the goal deficit, but the team could do nothing more.

Earlier Russia and England played 1-1, Slovakia yielding to the Welsh with the score of 1-2.
