Mkhitaryan turns Dortmund down yet again
09:44 31 May, 2016Armenia national football squad captain and Borussia Dortmund (BVB) midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has again refused to extend his contract with the German club.
Nonetheless, the 27-year-old player plans to stay at Dortmund until the expiry of his contract, according to Bild daily newspaper of Germany.
Mkhitaryan’s working contract with BVB runs until the summer of 2017, when he will be eligible to move to another club as a free agent.
The Armenian midfielder has scored 11 goals and made 15 assists in 31 appearances in the German Bundesliga season that wrapped up.
Arsenal F.C., Chelsea F.C. (England), and Juventus (Italy) are interested in his services.
