European Team Chess Championship: Team Armenia win in Round 6

The Armenian men’s national team beat Germany in Thursday’s Round 6 at the 2015 European Team Chess Championship which is held in Reykjavik, the capital city of Iceland.  

As a result, Armenia’s men have garnered 8 points, and they share fourth to tenth spots after six rounds.

Armenia’s women, on the other hand, defeated Spain in this round.

The Armenian women’s national chess team have 7 points, and they share ninth to thirteenth places after Round 6 in this tournament.

In Friday’s Round 7, Armenia’s men will face Poland while the women will play against Azerbaijan.

The matches will kick off at 7pm, Armenia time.
