Euro-2016: Armenia and Denmark play 0-0 draw

21:51   7 September, 2015

In the framework of Euro-2016 qualifying match, Armenian and Denmark have played a 0-0 draw.
From the very first moments of the match held in Yerevan’s Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium, the guests gained territorial advantage and tried to score an early goal. The Armenian squad could hardly pass to the centre of the field.

Already in the 15th minute, Sargis Hovsepyan’s team could open the score, but Gevorg Ghazaryan wasn’t able to score a goal from a fantastic position.

The Danes started the second half more actively. The guests began controlling the ball and missed an actual goal chance in the 58th minute. Armenia’s squad responded by counter-attacks. In the 66th minute Yura Movsisyan (“Spartak”), who substituted Ruslan Koryan, faced the Dane goalkeeper but couldn’t outcoach him.

The Armenian Squad has gained 2 points. In the last qualifying match Armenian will play against the Albanian team. The match will be held on October 11 in Yerevan.
