The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) on Thursday issued its new World Ranking.

Accordingly, the Armenian national squad have jumped up five place and are ranked 83rd in the new standings.

The team’s earlier 30th ranking was record-breaking for the country.

The top three, however, are unchanged. 2014 FIFA World Cup runners-up Argentina head the new FIFA World Ranking while Belgium and reining World Cup champions Germany are second and third, respectively.

Armenia’s Euro 2016 qualifier opponents Portugal, Denmark, Albania and Serbia are ranked 6th, 22nd, 25th and 66th, in that order.
