Henrikh Mkhitaryan hands gifts to children in Yerevan (PHOTOS)

YEREVAN. – Armenia national football squad and Borussia Dortmund (BVB; Germany) midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan on Wednesday participated in a charity event, which was held at the Football Federation of Armenia Technical Centre/Football Academy in capital city Yerevan.

“I welcome everyone, especially the children,” said Mkhitaryan, and presented footballs, uniforms, and caps to the children in attendance.

Separately, Diaspora Armenian businessmen Dikran Tchablakian and Krikor Jabourian presented to Mkhitaryan the Erebouni Forever gold fountain pen, which they have manufactured. Several Armenian symbols are depicted on this pen.

The Armenia international used this gold fountain pen to sign the footballs that were handed to thirty children, who attended the event from Gyumri, Vanadzor, Artashat, and Yerevan cities.

Syrian Armenians, who have settled in Armenia, also were among the children.
