Levon Aronian wins Sinquefield Cup-2015

Armenian team leader Levon Aronian today won the title of the winner of Sinquefield Cup super tournament held in the U.S. Saint Louis city. 

In the last 9th round of the tournament, the Armenian grossmeister played draw with the Bulgarian Veselin Topalov and gained 6 points, leaving his contestants behind. The other games of the tournament are not yet finished.

Aronian hadn’t won a title for a long time, and has been recently left out of the FIDE top 10 players list, appearing in the 11th place.
