Casillas agrees to lower-salary deal with Portugal club

Spain national football squad captain and FC Real Madrid (Spain) goalkeeper Iker Casillas has agreed to the terms of FC Porto (Portugal) and Real, and therefore he will continue his professional career in Portugal, reported Marca.

Casillas turned down the amount he is due in his contract with Real, and which was to run until 2017. In the meantime, the footballer was to receive a gross amount of €25 million.

The Spain stopper is to conclude an agreement with the Portuguese club in the coming hours.

Iker Casillas will bid farewell to Real Madrid and their fans at Saturday’s press conference.
