Croation to face UEFA sanctions

UEFA decided to launch disciplinary proceedings against the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) on the occasion of the fans’ behavior during the Euro 2012 match between Croatia and Ireland (3:1), UEFA official website reports. 

During the match, which occurred on June 10 in Poznan, Poland, Croatian fans celebrated the goals by fireworks, while after the match instigated mass clashes with police.
