The German police are investigating the recent delinquent conduct by Bosnia and Herzegovina national football squad and Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Germany) defender Emir Spahić, and his friends.

After Leverkusen’s German DFB-Pokal quarterfinal penalty shootout defeat by Bayern Munich, Spahić and his friends wanted to go up to the stadium’s pre-ordered closed armored box, but the pitchside staff had prohibited them from doing so.

An argument and an altercation had ensued, during which Spahić had headbutted a steward, Bild reported.

The Leverkusen press secretary confirmed this information, and noted that the club likewise has launched a respective inquiry.
