Raymond Verheijen: Russian national played brilliantly in first match

16:38   9 June, 2012

Raymond Verheijen, who currently is assistant manager to the Armenian national and cooperates with Russian manager Dick Advocaat, commented on Russian team’s first match against Czech (4-1).

“The brilliant victory was too intensive. All the Russian players were in an excellent shape during the 90 minutes. Czech players had pressed Russian central midfielders for the first ten minutes and it was productive. But they surprised the opponent by standing Russian players’ pace throughout 75 minutes,” Verheijen claimed.
