Armenia’s Danielyan becomes gold medalist
00:09 28 March, 2015Ashot Danielyan (Armenia) won a gold medal at a Sambo World Cup Stage tournament, which kicked off Friday in Moscow.
About 300 athletes from 35 countries are participating in this year’s Anatoly Kharlampiev Memorial Tournament, and Armenia is competing at the event with its the strongest team.
On the first day of the tournament, Danielyan was declared champion in the 90 kg weight class.
Separately, Vahe Otaryan (Armenia) placed second in the 52 kg weight class, thus winning the silver medal, informed the Armenian Sambo Federation.
