Bulgaria: Armenia boxer defeats Azerbaijan opponent

YEREVAN. – The 66th international Stranja boxing tournament has kicked off in the Bulgarian capital city of Sofia, and Armenia likewise is competing in this event.

Four Armenian boxers entered the ring on Tuesday, and three of them won their bouts.

Vladimir Margaryan (69 kg) defeated his Bulgarian challenger by a score of 2-1.

Subsequently, Henrik Sargsyan (91 kg) beat the Czech athlete on a unanimous decision by the ringside judges.

And Koryun Soghomonyan (52 kg) also recorded an impressive win. The Junior World Champion and European Youth Champion defeated Azar Imamamliev (Azerbaijan), informed the Boxing Federation of Armenia.
