Armenia sports minister recaps Belarus visit

YEREVAN. – The Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs of Armenia, Gabriel Ghazaryan, held a press conference on Monday, and summed up the results of his recent visit to the Belarusian capital city of Minsk.

Ghazaryan stated that in accordance with an agreement that was reached, Armenian specialists will travel to Belarus to undergo specialized trainings on sports medicine and sports psychology, and get familiarized with the respective track-record of their Belarusian colleagues.

The minister also informed about the results of his recent meeting with the President of Armenia. Ghazaryan noted that he received the approval of the President to carry out activities to promote several sports programs in the country.

Gabriel Ghazaryan also spoke about the ongoing activities to further popularize physical education and sports in Armenia, and the demonstrations of various sports, informed the press service of the Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs.
