Zurich: Aronian vs. Kramnik

Round 3 will be played Monday in the chess super tournament which is held in Zurich, Switzerland.

Grandmaster (GM) Levon Aronian (Armenia) will face GM Vladimir Kramnik (Russia) in the third round.

Aronian—who is currently ninth in the World Chess Federation (FIDE) rankings and who plays first board for the three-time World Chess Olympiad champions and the former World Team Chess champions, Armenia—has 1 point after two rounds.

The current leaders of this event are GMs Viswanathan Anand (India) and Hikaru Nakamura (USA) with 3-points, apiece.

To note, Levon Aronian was declared winner of the Blitz competition in this chess super tournament.
