Armenian athletes to vie for 2016 Summer Olympics qualification

Armenian boxers Misha Aloyan (52 kg) and Armen Zakaryan (64 kg), both of whom represent Russia, will compete in the finals of the AIBA Pro Boxing tournament to be held on January 30 and 31 in Novosibirsk, Russia, and to be able to qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics, which the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro will host.

Solely the winners in these finals will qualify for the Games of the XXXI Olympiad.

Zakaryan will face another Armenian boxer, Artem Harutyunyan representing Germany, in the final of his weight class.
