Tata Steel Chess: Armenia’s Aronian vs. Azerbaijan’s Radjabov

Round 10 will be played Wednesday at the Tata Steel Masters chess super tournament being held in Wijk aan Zee, the Netherlands. Grandmaster (GM) Levon Aronian—who is currently fifth in the World Chess Federation (FIDE) rankings and who plays first board for the three-time World Chess Olympiad champions and the former World Team Chess champions, Armenia—will face GM Teimour Radjabov (Azerbaijan) in this round. Aronian is currently tenth in the tournament, with 4 points, and Radjabov is ninth with 4.5 points.    

The reining World Chess Champion, GM Magnus Carlsen (Norway), who is first in the FIDE rankings, leads the competition with 7 points.All matches will get underway at 4:30pm Armenia time.
