YEREVAN. – Armenia men’s national chess team members, Grandmasters (GMs) Sergei Movsesian and Vladimir Akopian have tallied 4 points, each, after six rounds at the chess open in Doha, Qatar.
Armenian GMs Hovhannes Gabuzyan and Elina Danielian, on the other hand, have amassed 3.5 points, apiece, Hrant Melkumyan and Robert Hovhannisyan have garnered 3 points, each, and Gabriel Sargissian is at 2.5 points so far.
The current leader of this tournament is GM Anish Giri (Netherlands) with a perfect 6 points.
Separately, GM Karen Grigoryan has garnered 2 points, out of 4, before the last round of the tournament in Barcelona, Spain.
The leader of this competition is GM Balogh Csaba (Hungary) with 3 points, Armchess reported.
