Chess news on Armenian players

YEREVAN. – Grandmasters (GMs) Hrant Melkumyan, Sergei Movsesian, Vladimir Akopian, and Hovhannes Gabuzyan (Armenia) have tallied 1.5 points, each, after two rounds at the chess open that is held in Doha, Qatar.

They are half a point behind the current fourteen leaders of the tournament, Armchess reported.

GMs Gabriel Sargissian, Robert Hovhannisyan, and Elina Danielian (Armenia), on the other hand, have amassed one point, apiece, so far.
