Only a few players can get to Messi’s level – Man City boss

Manchester City F.C. (England) Manager Manuel Pellegrini commented on the rumors about acquiring Argentina national football squad captain and FC Barcelona (Spain) striker Lionel Messi.

“We don’t consider the possibility of acquiring him. [But] I can only note that solely a few players can get to his level.

“His record in La Liga proves how important he is for Barça,” Marca quoted Pellegrini as saying.

Earlier, rumors were circulating that Manchester City are willing to pay £200 million for the Argentine international’s services.
