Armenia faced Portugal in Friday’s Euro 2016 qualification-round Group I match in Faro, Portugal.

The guests, however, lost to the host nation by a score of 1-0.

Portugal national squad captain and Real Madrid (Spain) striker Cristiano Ronaldo scored the game’s only—and his country’s winning—goal in the 72nd minute.

At present, Denmark are the current Group I leaders with 7 points. Portugal follow them with 6 points, Albania have amassed 4 points, whereas Armenia and Serbia solely have one point, apiece.
