World champion Aleksanyan to debut in Bundesliga (PHOTOS)

World Greco-Roman Wrestling Champion Artur Aleksanyan (Armenia) will compete in the German club championship. The reining world champion told NEWS.am Sport that he will travel to Germany on Thursday and mark his debut at the Mainz Club. “The contract provides that I have four or five bouts by the end of the year. After that, I’ll return [to Armenia] and join the national team,” Aleksanyan said. Club wrestling competitions are held in a variety of countries. London Olympics silver medalist, reining world Greco-Roman Wrestling Champion Arsen Julfalakyan (Armenia) competes in the German Bundesliga wrestling since 2009.
After him, the number of Armenian athletes in the German clubs has gradually increased.
