Gaël Andonian participates in French club’s win

The leaders, Olympique de Marseille, defeated RC Lens 2-1 at home in Week 12 of the current season in the French Ligue 1.

And 19-year-old French-Armenian defender Gaël Andonian made his debut for Marseille, as he was subbed in in the 79th minute into the game.

Two years ago, Andonian was invited to play for the Armenia national football squad, but he had turned down this offer by the Football Federation of Armenia.
